Raorchestes parvulus
Rare visitor: recorded only occasionally in this country
Range
Recorded from Vietnam; see species account for evidence limits
Raorchestes parvulus (Raorchestes parvulus) is an amphibian recorded for Vietnam in the project inventory. Its supporting occurrence note is “GBIF: 29 Vietnam records”. The accepted scientific name is retained because regional taxonomy and species boundaries can change, while similar-looking taxa may require detailed morphology or genetic evidence for reliable separation. This profile therefore distinguishes the recorded identity and occurrence from broader biological context instead of inventing unsupported locality, size, diet or breeding details (project species data; Amphibian Species of the World taxonomy).
Raorchestes bush frogs are small arboreal rhacophorids with adhesive toe pads and species-specific advertisement calls. They generally reproduce by direct development: young frogs hatch from terrestrial eggs without a free-swimming tadpole stage, reducing dependence on open water. Microhabitat and breeding season vary among species. These are genus-level notes rather than observations from Vietnam, so exact body size, call, habitat, clutch and development time are not inferred (general Raorchestes biology; Amphibian Species of the World).
