Feihyla palpebralis
Rare visitor: recorded only occasionally in this country
Range
Recorded from Vietnam; see species account for evidence limits
Feihyla palpebralis (Feihyla palpebralis) is an amphibian recorded for Vietnam in the project inventory. Its supporting occurrence note is “GBIF: 108 Vietnam records”. The accepted scientific name is retained because regional taxonomy and species boundaries can change, while similar-looking taxa may require detailed morphology or genetic evidence for reliable separation. This profile therefore distinguishes the recorded identity and occurrence from broader biological context instead of inventing unsupported locality, size, diet or breeding details (project species data; Amphibian Species of the World taxonomy).
Feihyla are small arboreal rhacophorid frogs with expanded toe pads and slender bodies suited to vegetation. They use humid shrubs and grasses near breeding water, where calling males and eggs may be associated with leaves above small pools. Species boundaries and older names can complicate records. These are genus-level notes rather than Vietnamese field observations of this species, so exact size, colour, call, habitat and clutch values are not inferred (general Feihyla context; Amphibian Species of the World).
