Trip report · Tropical Birding · 2023Southern Vietnam in 2023: bird hides, Silver-breasted Broadbills and Siamese FirebackTropical Birding's “Easy Indochina” Birding with a Camera tour, guided by Ken Behrens and Trần Nhật Tiên in January and February 2023, used the new bird hides of southern Vietnam to get close, photographable views of normally shy forest birds. From Ho Chi Minh City the group visited Tan Phu, Cat Tien National Park, Di Linh and Da Lat, with Silver-breasted Broadbill, Indochinese Green-Magpie, Bar-bellied Pitta, Green Peafowl and Siamese Fireback among the highlights.
