Recorded from Vietnam; see species account for evidence limits

White-spotted Supple Skink (Riopa albopunctata) is a lizard recorded for Vietnam in the project inventory. Its supporting occurrence note is “Expert range list”. The exact scientific name is retained because many Vietnamese geckos and skinks are recently described, geographically restricted or difficult to distinguish from close relatives. This profile therefore separates confirmed identity and occurrence from broader ecological context instead of inventing unsupported locality, size or breeding details (project species data; Reptile Database taxonomy).

Supple skinks assigned to Riopa are small, elongate ground lizards that burrow through loose soil and leaf litter. Smooth scales, short limbs and flexible bodies help them move below cover, where they take small insects and other invertebrates. Taxonomic boundaries with related lygosomine skinks have changed repeatedly. These are genus-level traits and no precise Vietnam-specific breeding figure is inferred (general lygosomine ecology; Reptile Database).
