Napothera epilepidota
Rare visitor: recorded only occasionally in this country
The eyebrowed wren-babbler (Napothera epilepidota) is a species of bird in the family Pellorneidae. Its range extends from the eastern Himalayas throughout Southeast Asia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. Napothera epilepidota is the scientific name used by the project species list. The description here uses general species-wide information and does not imply that every trait has been documented separately in Vietnam. (Wikipedia, general species account).
The accessible general account establishes the species identity, distribution and the natural-history points stated above. Behaviour, diet and breeding can vary geographically, and the available source does not support adding precise Vietnam-specific measurements or nesting dates. This profile therefore retains only species-wide information that can be stated defensibly, rather than filling gaps with unsupported local claims (Wikipedia, general species account).
