The diadem leaf-nosed bat, or diadem roundleaf bat, is one of the most widespread bats in the roundleaf family. It is named for its complex anterior nose-leaf, which is horseshoe-shaped. It is probably most closely related to Hipposideros demissus from Makira and H. inornatus from the Northern Territory of Australia, and is found from Southeast Asia to Australia (Wikipedia, general species account).
