Bronchocela orlovi
Rare visitor: recorded only occasionally in this country

Recorded from Vietnam; see species account for evidence limits
Bronchocela orlovi (Bronchocela orlovi) is an agamid or gecko recorded for Vietnam in the project inventory. The supporting occurrence note is “Expert range list”. Its use of the exact scientific name is important because Southeast Asian lizard taxonomy changes frequently and several close relatives were described only recently. Where a familiar English name is present it is retained; otherwise the scientific name avoids inventing an unsupported vernacular name (project species data; Reptile Database taxonomy).
Long-tailed agamas are slender, diurnal tree lizards that move through shrubs and branches while hunting insects. Their green or brown coloration can blend with foliage, and their exceptionally long tails aid balance. Closely related species may be separated by scale counts, crest form, tympanum size and proportions rather than colour alone. These are genus-level notes and not species-specific reproductive claims (general Bronchocela ecology; published Vietnamese taxonomic reviews).
