Recorded from Vietnam; see species account for evidence limits
Subdoluseps vietnamensis (Subdoluseps vietnamensis) is a lizard recorded for Vietnam in the project inventory. Its supporting occurrence note is “Expert range list”. The exact scientific name is retained because many Vietnamese reptiles are recently described, geographically restricted or difficult to distinguish from close relatives. This profile therefore separates the recorded identity and occurrence from broader biological context instead of inventing unsupported locality, size, diet or breeding details (project species data; Reptile Database taxonomy).
Subdoluseps are small, elongate skinks associated with leaf litter, loose soil and other ground cover. Their smooth scales and reduced-looking limbs suit movement through dense surface debris, where small insects and other invertebrates are plausible prey. Species separation depends on detailed scalation, proportions and locality rather than colour alone. These are genus-level ecological notes, not a claim that diet, breeding or microhabitat has been studied for this particular Vietnamese record (general Subdoluseps ecology; Reptile Database).
