Sokolov's Glass Lizard (Dopasia sokolovi) is a lizard recorded for Vietnam in the project inventory. Its supporting occurrence note is “Expert range list”. The exact scientific name is retained because many Vietnamese reptiles are recently described, geographically restricted or difficult to distinguish from close relatives. This profile therefore separates the recorded identity and occurrence from broader biological context instead of inventing unsupported locality, size, diet or breeding details (project species data; Reptile Database taxonomy).

Dopasia glass lizards are elongate, limbless anguids, but unlike snakes they retain movable eyelids and external ear openings. They live mainly on or beneath ground cover, taking invertebrates and other small prey, and can shed a fragile tail when seized. Members of the genus lay eggs, although reproductive details vary and remain sparse for some species. These are genus-level biological notes rather than observations documented for this particular Vietnamese record, so exact size, clutch and habitat figures are omitted (general Dopasia biology; Reptile Database).
