Lygosoma angeli

Recorded from Vietnam; see species account for evidence limits
Lygosoma angeli (Lygosoma angeli) is a lizard recorded for Vietnam in the project inventory. Its supporting occurrence note is “Expert range list”. The exact scientific name is retained because many Vietnamese geckos and skinks are recently described, geographically restricted or difficult to distinguish from close relatives. This profile therefore separates confirmed identity and occurrence from broader ecological context instead of inventing unsupported locality, size or breeding details (project species data; Reptile Database taxonomy).
Lygosoma are elongate, smooth-scaled skinks with reduced limbs, adapted for burrowing through soil and leaf litter. They feed on small invertebrates and spend much of their time beneath logs, stones or surface debris, making them infrequently observed. Species limits have changed with modern revisions. These are genus-level traits rather than unsupported Vietnam-specific measurements or reproductive claims (general Lygosoma ecology; Reptile Database).
